MejorSet is a leading Spanish company in the construction of padel courts, internationally recognized for its quality, innovation, and durability for two decades. Since 2020 we are also the official court of the most important global tournaments such as Premier Padel and the International Padel Federation.
Our team performs high quality padel court installations tailored to the specific needs of each project; for private courts in luxury residences, custom sports clubs to large-scale sports complexes. Our courts are designed for maximum performance and are prepared to withstand all types of weather conditions.
At MejorSet, we build both indoor and outdoor padel courts, with all models fully adaptable to either setting. The main differences between indoor and outdoor versions lie in the structural treatments, the type of turf, textured or monofilament, and the specific lighting requirements of each space. Our courts are designed to meet the demands of their environment, whether exposed to weather or protected indoors. Each element, from the materials to the finishes, is selected to ensure maximum performance, durability, and aesthetics in any location.
At MejorSet, we develop padel courts for all types of projects. Our experience ranges from private residential courts to multi-racquet sports chains, specialised padel clubs, and luxury hotels or resorts that offer padel as a premium amenity.
We also collaborate with public institutions such as municipalities and sports organisations, as well as major sporting events. No matter the scale or purpose, each project is tailored to meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and design. Always with the signature of quality and innovation that define MejorSet.
To install a standard padel court in the UK, you’ll need a minimum area of 20 metres by 10 metres for the playing surface, plus additional clearance around it. We recommend at least 1 to 2 metres on each side for safety and ease of access. For indoor courts, a ceiling height of at least 6 metres is required, although 7 to 8 metres is preferable to allow full freedom of play. The land must be level and stable, capable of supporting concrete or steel foundations, depending on the structure.
Planning permission is generally required for padel courts in the UK, especially if permanent lighting or fencing over two metres high is involved. It’s important to note that fixed court models, which require anchoring and drilling into the ground, almost always require planning permission. However, MejorSet also offers portable courts that do not require ground anchoring, and in many cases, can be installed without full planning approval. Requirements vary depending on the local authority, so it is advisable to consult with your local council early on. We can assist you on any technical documents needed.
