What type of pavement is better: troweled concrete or porous concrete?

The two two pavements are good, but each one will adapt better to the environment and conditions of its type of installation, we give two examples:

• Outdoor setting on open ground with no nearby paving. MejorSet would project a troweled screed with a lateral slope of 0.8% for the evacuation of rainwater, the perfect option for durability, price and speed.
• Outdoor environment on a plot of land surrounded by adjoining areas that are completely level or that do not allow us to collect rainwater. MejorSet would project a porous concrete floor where we maintain the planimetry and height of the entire annexed area and the perfect collection of rainwater by draining the porous surface and evacuating the collectors.

How thick should the foundation of a Padel court be?

We can divide the foundation into two parts, the perimeter band (where we will anchor the structure) and the floor (play area or annexes around it).

• The strap where we must anchor the structure of the field must not have dimensions less than 30x30cm. (recommended 40x40cm) and the appropriate concrete for foundations (HM-25/20MM) with its corresponding reinforcement.
• The floor (play area and/or adjacent areas) must have between 12 and 15 cm of concrete and its corresponding reinforcement.

The planimetry of the screed is one of the points to take into account, it must be a totally homogeneous surface without potholes or holes, since this will affect 3 important points of its installation.

• Problems in the correct game causing the wrong bounce of the ball

Should I check the silica charge and perform maintenance?

A correct maintenance of the turf as well as a fair charge of silica will mark the durability time of our turf, it is vitally important to keep the fiber raised with the right charge of silica to carry out progressive wear without breakage, the supervision of a company is recommended specialized once a year at least.

Should the turf be watered?

From MejorSet, after each installation through our qualified personnel, we always make a recommendation that will facilitate the perfect maintenance and conditioning of your facilities. The club's maintenance personnel must first blow the surface removing dust and dirt, secondly brush with a hard plastic spikes and distribute the silica and thirdly moisten the grass in the form of rain.

Following NIDE standards, our court lighting is designed to be uniform, ensuring it doesn't obstruct the vision of players, referees, or spectators. Our lighting systems comply with the UNE EN 12193 standard, which outlines lighting requirements for sports facilities.
